Milk Fiber Top
Milk Fiber is a really interesting fiber, which resembles silk in terms of appearance, but behaves similarly to wool. It is actually made from the casein proteins found in milk, hence the name. The process for making milk fiber is similar to that of viscose bamboo and uses zinc oxide, which makes the fiber naturally bacteriostatic. This means that bacteria can survive temporarily on the fiber, but cannot replicate on it.
Milk fiber has great moisture absorption and conduction, and takes dye beautifully. It is comfortable, white, fluffy and springy; has a pH of 6.8 (same as the human skin; and can be blended with virtually any fiber or spun on its own.
