Welcome to our farm…
Nestled in the hills overlooking the Chenango River Valley, Shadeyside Farm is the home to 25 adult sheep and 6 goats and around 25 laying hens.
For over 25 years we have specialized in Rainbow Dyed fibers for the fiber artist, in locks, tops, and yarns. In 1987 we began to offer quality silk fibers in all forms. We continue to add other fibers that interest us or are requested, and produce Bullthistle Naturals© yarns made from fibers grown in the Chenango region - you can never have enough fiber or yarn!
Browse through our product pages, dream of projects using our Rainbow Dyed fibers and tops, consider taking a workshop or class, and visit with us at Festivals and Conferences.
If you are driving through the area and would like to stop, be sure to call ahead to ensure we will be here to greet you as our hours are by appointment or chance!
